Bonnot (also Walter Buonanno) is a multi-awards composer, a talented musician playing a variety of instruments, a dj and a producer, known mainly for his projects longside the legendary M1 dead prez, General Levy and the italian hip hop pioneers Assalti Frontali. He produces also Jungle & Drum’n’bass music for his very own label Jungle Heritage Recordings and for the Underground Area Recordings.

His recent LP album “Forward” with the “Mr. Incredible” living legend General Levy (and such big featured artists as Serial Killaz, Ed solo, Ricky Tuff and more) was placed in the Top Ten Best sellers Chart for many months.
Although he has always been involved in the underground/urbanmusic scene, Bonnot has won (when he was only 22 years old) awards like the important S.I.A.E. prize as “The Best Italian Independent Composer in 2005/2006” and the best album of the year at M.E.I.
Recently Bonnot won the 2nd place at “BEST ITALIAN EVENT AWARDS 2012″ for his Score & Sound Design for the monumental video mapping on Milan’s DUOMO.In 2013 the  4Grammy Awards winner Macklermore brought out “M1 Dead Prez & Bonnot” in the “Macklemore & Ryan Lewis” show at the Madison Square Garden (NYC) in front a sold out-20.000 people’s arena.

Between the many official remixes he did, we can mention some of the latests: ‘Time Travel’ for Dead Prez feat. Busta Rhymes, Black Thought (The Roots), Bun B, General Levy, presented by Dj Mag UK; then “Stand up Remix” from the new album of the legendary Asian Dub Foundation and the forthcoming “Run” from the last Dub Fx album “Theory of Harmony”.

On the 4th June 2014 Fabrizio Sotti invited him to perform at the Blue Note Jazz Festival in New York, where Bonnot was able to play with some of the best jazz musician from the worldwide scene

such as Sotti (Miles Davis, Cassandra Wilson), Mino Cinelu (Weather Report, Miles Davis), Francisco Mela (J. Scofield), Tony Grey (Herbie Hancock), Ray Angry (The Roots).

He’s the featured artist in the new Paolo Fresu album (March 2014), one of the most famous jazz artist in the world.
Bonnot is a tireless musician and he played for important European Festivals (Germany, UK, Croatia, Holland, France, Switzerland, Greece, Spain) and for African Festivals as well alongside artists such as Noisia, Camo & Krooked, Serial Killaz, Keny Arkana, Asian Dub Foundation, Dead Prez, Benny Page, Goldie, with his dj-sets, all thanks to his process of stylistic research and his characteristic taste in music with which he approached electronic music, cutting edge jazz and contemporary classical music– the last one being a field in which Bonnot is loved so much that he took part of very important events with some of Ennio Morricone’s Orchestra musicians.

His first reggae riddim – the “THC riddim”, Can.i.bis.records (February, 2011) – was placed first in soundquacke.com, one of the greatest distributors in Europe, as the 7”vinyl which was bought the most and it had been in the top 10 sales for a month. This riddim was also on first place of “top sales” on Tokio based ReggaeRecords.com (Japan and Worldwide distribution) and first in the charts of unites states’ Earnie B, the famous reggae distribution.

Bonnot is endorser for UNIVERSAL AUDIO since 2012 and mixes all his albums with the APOLLO QUAD’s plugins.
